Every child deserves a calm mind, a kind heart, and a safe place to grow. With this belief, Assam Development Initiative successfully organised a 3-day Mindfulness Meditation Workshop from 14%u201316 May 2026 at Guwahati Refinery Higher Secondary School, as part of the Value Based Education and Child Development Project.

Mindfulness helps children stay focused, manage their emotions, and build better connections with themselves and those around them. Our aim is to create a school environment where well-being, self-awareness, and compassion are part of daily life.

The teachers who attended the workshop are now better equipped to bring mindfulness practices into their classrooms, supporting students who need them most in today%u2019s busy and demanding world.

We have been working with this school for several years, and the dedication and cooperation of the teachers have been key to making this programme a success. We are truly grateful to all the teachers for their time, receptivity, and support throughout the workshop.
